The NCAA should have come up with a plan to pay players prior to being forced to by law. That was the problem, they dug their heels and this is the result. No guidelines.

Yep. I don't know anyone who wouldn't have supported giving them money for appearances or jersey sales.

But the way it is being administered at some schools will kill the game off. its also not healthy to give 18 year old kids millions without any structure to help them out.

Its a lose/lose as is. Thousands of kids will lose the chance at college because of NIL.

There are guidelines. The NIL contract can’t be tied to the player’s decision to play for or attend a specific school. And the school can’t broker the deal. What else do you think the NCAA can actually do here?
