I agree to a point but also feel 8&4 will be the place where reality meets the road. High paid players aren’t going to be team players or work as hard. Which will result in piss poor outcomes versus the money they paid for those players. Plain and simple.

All you have to do is buy more players the next year. Think of how many 1st round picks work out in the NFL. Now consider an NFL team who could basically buy 7-10 1st round picks every year so if you get them to campus and they bust, just buy 10 more next class.
In 2-3 years, A&M will have Alabama’s roster of talent and they only had to buy it for 2 seasons.
