Mine is big enough that they are doing a nephrolithotomy next week. It requires a one day hospital stay. They cut a tube into the kidney in day surgery, then go to the general operating room to put a tool into the kidney that breaks up the stone and removes it.
The stone is acting up this morning. I'll be glad when it is out.
