Taysom hasn’t done jack shite at QB and people think he’s a better option than Jameis. How do you explain that if not for the color of his skin.

Yeah they would have bashed Wentz but I don't think Wentz would have had the same season Winston had so I don't think it's an apples to apples comparison. Nobody wanted Jimmy G because of his limited ceiling. A lot of Saints fans wanted Watson because he's a proven young star but there was also plenty who didn't want him my point still stands

Most fans are reactionary and got way too excited about the possibility of getting a star initially and didn't think about all of the consequences of acquiring said star so yeah at first everyone was reactionary. There were still those who would prefer a "white qb" for the sake of being white.
I'm not sure it was ALL do to race. Some of it sure but I think it was a mix of all those things.

I've never said a "significant portion of fans on this board think like that" you just added that. There are fans on this board however who do and you want to act like that's not real. There was some fans who went easier on an aging Brees in part because he is a "white qb"

If there’s a situation that occurs and there’s five different reasons for it, does it make sense to ONLY point out the reason that applies to the smallest group of people? That’s what you did

There are fans who are biased towards "white qbs" that's all I've argued. I never gave a percentage of fans but I don't think you know either because they wouldn't act overtly racist on here they just do that in the comfort of their own homes. I'm from Louisiana bro this ain't my first rodeo.

You’ve since specified some. But my point from the above statement was if you don’t think it’s a significant number why specify ONLY that one thing in your first comments? Clearly you believe it to be a significant issue with regards to Winston on this board

I do think it’s because of his skin in that case. But those people are downvoted pretty heavily. Most people here don’t want Taysom over JW. My point is how significant are those people. This guy is now here saying “some” but came in firing with the racism card and brought up people not criticizing Brees as well
