I will second the Danner Pronghorn. Most comfortable and durable leather boot I have come across for the money. They feel broken in straight out of the box, and well constructed. I have been through two pairs in the past ten years, and only reason I bought another was the gore tex liner wearing out.

Danner pronghorn

I've worn Pronghorns occasionally to and from my stand over the last few years. They have an eye rivet on the left boot that presses into my ankle after a while so I don't recommend for hiking. I returned a pair of Danner Steel Yard work boots because the same rivet issue was unbearable for a full work day. They will also squeak like basketball shoes when you walk in damp grass and leaves.
