This is why you're all being led astray, you're pastor should have something to say about abortion and homosexuality being legal.

My are pastor should tell me that being homosexual should be against the law? I generally like Christians and what they bring to the table, societally speaking, but you and you are pastor are the kind that help move people away from Christianity and cast a bad light on other Christians.

Did Jesus teach people the way to live or petition the government to outlaw that which he was at odds with?

On the other hand, abortion should be illegal, since there is a victim. There are multiple ways to not get pregnant that don't involve cutting up a child.

In the sense of pastors speaking out about sin I would wholeheartedly agree. They need much more of that and a lot less of preaching in the box that their members allow because of their own sin they don’t want preached about. However, while murdering babies and homosexuality are both sins, they are not alike in the sense that murdering babies is abhorrent to most all rational human beings not looking for an escape clause to their behavior that got them in that predicament in the first place, and the government should definitely have a say in whether the taking of human lives is legal or not. Homosexuality however is not unlike many other sins, including other sexual sins like heterosexual fornication, adultery, lust, etc, but also gluttony, greed, taking the name of God in vain, and many others. They don’t however need to be made illegal. They DO however need to be preached against, and God’s moral standard upheld in churches on Sundays, with scripture alone, and without compromise or seeking permission.
