The only way I can see the Pelicans being interested in a guy like Eason in a logjam at the forward position is if they want insurance for Zion if he gets injured again and they don’t trust Hayes to be the only option to fill in next season if things goes haywire. You can scheme actions for Eason to go downhill to go right. But his bread and butter early on will be hustle and energy to score while he develops his 3 point shot.
