We have already given Ukraine two-thirds of Russia's annual defense budget.

$46.6 billion to Zelensky so far. Also, Afghanistan costs were about $40.8 billion per year. But, at least there was some argument for being there. I wrote my congressman (who previously condemned Azov battalion as a terrorist organization) and said don't approve the $33 billion and received a form letter about why we are fighting for Ukraine. Anyway, good video from Greenwald asking the question about how do Americans benefit? Is Ukraine a vital interest of the United States?
Biden wants $33 billion more for Ukraine - which Americans benefit?

I am not defending any giveaways, but do you really think Russia's self-reported numbers are accurate?
Every time an arguement comes up about "we spend x and they spend a tenth of x" people need to take a step back and realize that defense expenditures are one of the biggest smoke and mirror reportables any gov will report (particularly one that doesn't mind foregoing domestic prosperity/butter for guns).

I have no idea. Glenn's numbers came from NYT reporting, so I defer to them. Anyway, back to abortion talk. Ukraine is so yesterday.
