Probably not, but that's not what was stated.

Normal students are free to make money as students. Hell, LSU has one of the biggest social media stars in the world. Was being a student prohibiting her fame and fortune? No.

Students at real schools on the west coast make tons of money with startups in tech. Was being a student prohibiting their fortune? No.

For the record, I don’t think NIL will ruin college football. It will change it but humans are an adaptable species. Some people may stop watching but there will still be an audience and the sport will still make a ton of money.

I was speaking more in terms of geared toward their major, not a side job... Just as football players are making money for their true talent, football.

I mean, there are plenty opportunities in tech that showcase talent, that don't require certification. Just a good product.

I guess I'm just salty because I'm looking at it through the lens of college students that have "talent", but still have to bide their time for a certification or piece of paper to start making real money for their "talent".
