It is going to ruin team chemistry. The intent of NIL was to reward players for past performance, but the huge use of it now is a recruiting tool. It's very easy to look at the past recruiting list to see the fairly large percentage of top rank players that don't pan out. How are the veteran starters going to get along with an over rated incoming freshman with a huge NIL deal, when they are getting peanuts.
