With the transfer portal, you cannot have NIL or it will destroy the game. It already is ripping at the seems. They are tied together at the hip.

You literally go from teams with multi year players to mercenaries. The universities will put a stop to this soon enough.

NIL was meant for a specific purpose which has already been bastardized. Its is totally not sustainable just from an economic perspective.

We'll look back in 5 years and know that it was ruined the moment NIL wasn't regulated.

It is hardly about anything having to do with Name, Image, and Likeness. It's here's money come play for us.

What's happening in Miami basketball currently will be the norm now. Guys wanting more money than the deal they agreed to or their leaving.
