I have no problem with anyone deferring. If that avenue is available to him he should take advantage of it. If he has to server later, or never, is not the issue. The issue is the poster effectively said "frick you" to the idea that the kid got the education and doesn't seem it to be a big deal that he not fulfill his commitment. At least that is the way I interpreted the finger. If that was not his intent I apologize in advance.

Would it help to think of it as TOPS with PT and yelling (well Air Force so prolly not a lot of PT and yelling)?
