Going from small-town Iowa to New Orleans is pretty different. Hope he'll be able to adjust.

Man, why do y'all just dump on that great city like that?? Smh You know the NO was a great city in the old days, above a lot of southern cities, then integration started and it's been in decline ever since. In order to return it back to greatness the right kind of leadership needs to start taking over there, emerging there. It won't ever change unless you get fortune 500 companies to relocate there, and get the right kind of progressive people to start moving there to change it. But a first-class city all the way, you can't have a better time in another city than the NO.

It’s not as different as you think. There’s still a lot of country baws around here who like to hunt and fish and shite.

Imagine going from small town Iowa to NY or LA. That’s a culture shock.

My sister in law is from Iowa and had zero trouble adjusting. She's got a great appreciation for the city because she's not from here. She's always talking about the things she wants to do and how close everything is.
