We should raid the field

I dont give a frick what yall think. I never got to do it and I want to experience it as a student.

I believe this is what the psychiatrist would call a "selfish introspective young hippie".

Raiding the field is, ..., how should I put it, ...,

STUPID.

It should be reserved ONLY FOR THE MOST EXTREME OF CIRCUMSTANCES.

For instance, if Coach He Whose Name Shall Never Be Spoken had beaten Florida in 1993 instead of losing 58-3 THEN raiding the field would have made sense. Why? Because we sucked arse that year, and Florida was awesome.

We do not suck arse. Despite the disappointment of last week - LSU still has a great football team. If we beat Bammer - it will be because we are better than them, or because we are on par with them - not because we suck arse and there was some fluke win.

"raiding the field" is to be reserved for seasons that suck arse where we unexpectedly beat a far superior opponent. Got it newbie? But since we have an Awesome Hat as Coach - there will be no more seasons that suck arse. Yes, maybe we won't win a Championship game every year - but there will be no more suck arse He Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken type seasons.

So suck it up. If you raid the field you'll be the only jackass doing it. You know that LSU put up those double support goal posts for a reason, right?

Instead - this is what you need to do after we win. Wait around and sing "hey Baby" with the band and the Alma Mater - and then walk quietly back to your car or home - all the while soaking in the look in the faces of the Bammer fans. There's no need to taunt. Just look at their sad faces. They will probably be undefeated and expecting a Nick Satan NC year - then we will beat them.

So instead of raiding the field and getting arresting or having your head bashing in by a falling goal post - I would seriously recommend just soaking in the look of defeat on the Bammer's faces. Is the most beautiful thing in the world!

Heck I barely even got to go to the games when I was a student, too busy working. I was just happy it was a job where I could listen to the game on the radio. Ahhh, the Dinardo years! He may not have been the best, but he took us out of suckdom and put us into mediocredom.
