2022 NFL Draft Rumors Thread

Guess we can post any rumors in this thread

The most recent buzz, which, which you can choose to interpret any way you like, is from Albert Breer, in his final MMQB before the draft: “ Well, I’ve heard both Pickett and Corral have fans in the building, but most I’ve talked to believe they’ll use their picks on a receiver (if one of the top four is still there).” It really sounds like you can put your money one pick 16 or 19 being a receiver, unless the Saints decide to trade up. But even in a trade up scenario, they would likely be targeting a receiver or an offensive tackle.

Isn’t Williams coming off a serious injury and not available for a while.
Hard to see anyone picking him top 10, if that’s the case.

Almost every PFF mock I've done had a run on WRs with picks 9-15. I could see a trade up at 13 with Houston to grab Williams or London. Gotta think Philly is in play for a WR at 15. Olave might be there at 16 but that's a risk. In no writer mock or rumor have I heard us trading back.

I do not want to trade our 2 1st round picks to move up to the top 10. I much rather pick at 16 & 19.

trading up for a receiver, in this particular draft, makes no sense... there are a ton of quality receivers, and there's not a doubt in my mind that even if we wait til 49 to go WR, we'd still come out of this draft with an instant starter/impact player...
