What's funny/sad about her announcement is that the ones responsible for the violence will never even hear her message.
In fact, I'll bet they don't even know who she is or that she is the mayor.

Has she called for literal prayer in the streets like the idiot Mayor of Shreveport did?
“Here’s a great idea to stop daily shootings! Let’s meet at the busiest intersections of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Shreveport and pray! That’ll fix our problems!”
Forget raising SPD pay so you can get more qualified Police. Forget that you’re short 110+ Officers cause you don’t want to pay more. Prayer will fix it all.
FWIW, I’m not dogging prayer. I believe in it with my whole heart. I just can’t believe the idiots that run certain cities in the country and the stupid, asinine idea they come up with yet won’t admit the true issues causing the crime.
