This is true. But they not risking his health over a favorable matchup.

I don’t really understand this line of thinking.

We’re so afraid of the guy touching the court we’re not gonna let him play 15 mins? What’s the point of him practicing at all then? You just stole home court advantage from the #1 overall seed headed back home to a rocking SKC. If you can even just split, it’s down to a 3 game series. Or he’ll, If you pull it off. This team healthy can play with anyone. Why couldn’t they go on a run with Zion?

I just don’t understand how he is getting to do crazy dunks, but can’t play a small number of minutes off the bench.

Think of the dunks like sprints, he needs to be tested longer and with more intensity. I’m hoping the issue is just logistics and all the focus has been on prepping the team for essentially playoff games the last several weeks. So as soon as the team can spare a few hours to have a Zion focused practice he’ll be cleared and will play.

It seems pretty obvious that Griff & Co. aren't worried about his foot being healed... theyre just saying "why chance ANY injury when we can't possibly win a 'ship this year?"

That logic has been turned on its head though because we are looking at an actual opportunity here

Luka himself said the exact same thing today. He said he wouldn't play if there's a risk of reinjury.

That's what the Pels are doing. But more to the point, I'm certain there are conditioning benchmarks that everyone agreed to that need to be hit for him to return.

We’re giving Zion the Greg Oden treatment. We’re pretending he’s made of glass and won’t let him touch the court, ever again.

If it doesn't happen this week then it's not going to happen. We have this two-day gap, yesterday and today, that would be perfect to give him a run.

Right, and I believe the initial injury report for Game 3 should be out this afternoon.

If he's listed as "out" (which he most likely will be), then its done, he won't play in Game 3, and I imagine that means he wouldn't play in game 4 either.

People are acting like it's a crazy idea to throw Zion into the lineup (1) during the playoffs, (2) coming off an injury, (3) with a largely new roster, (4) while not having played at all since last year.

Funny enough, Ben Simmons is reportedly joining the Brooklyn Nets for game 4 against the Celtics. He is rejoining the lineup (1) during the playoffs, (2) coming off an injury, (3) with a largely new roster, (4) while not having played at all since last year.

If Ben Simmons can do it, I don't see why Zion can't.

I agree. And Ben Simmons is one of the laziest sacks of shite in the game, yet he’s coming back

Dude was 1st team all defense and probably best defensive wing in the world. You don’t become that by being lazy. Defense is mostly effort. His head is definitely screwed up though.

I think the point they are trying to make is he hasn’t played all year either yet the Nets are going a different direction than the Pels

Talking Zion in today's show

Just asking @NOLAJake what about Zion is there to discuss at this time?

Based on the questions from the fanbase over the past week there are things to talk about. I believe that last official update from the team was March 2nd

Understood, just asking brother

The impression I get from this exchange is AD doesn't think Zion will be ready any time soon.

Yeah I mean...AD is kinda right.

There's nothing to talk about until there is something to talk about.

AD I am sure knows, and Griffin basically told TNT...he's not playing.

Im all for shitting on the cuck known as NOLAJake, but AD is tripping on this one.

It's been a month and a half since our last update and shite has obviously changed. BIG TIME.

We're now IN the playoffs heading into game 3 tied 1-1. How do we STILL not have any sort of time line??

Book hurt his hamstring like two days ago and we already have his timeline to return.

If Zion is going to be out just officially announce that shite.

I think it is pretty obvious why he hasn't been ruled out for the season.

Zion and his people don't want him ruled out for the season. It is a bone thrown to them.

Basically everything they have done along the way is token appeasement to Zion's camp. They have no intention of playing him this year at all, but want to keep the peace as much as they can.

Jake is just basically using clickbait. He knows that people will listen hoping to hear positive news, but there is nothing out pointing to Zion playing.

Which is fine, whatever.

But don't get pissy when fans are upset because we are being strung along like idiots.

This entire saga has sewed deep distrust with the fans and Zion/FO.

Who is this directed at though? AD? I don't he's pissy with the fans at all. I think he's calling Jake out for making it seem like there's Zion news when there isn't.
