Don't know about the lack of respect thing. A person needs to be around the team to pick up that type of info. What I do know is that I agree somewhat with the thought that our D is designed for big-on-big physical play with pro-style sets, ect. As opposed to the spread sets. That whole offense is designed to create mismatches, get guys the ball in space and you MUST have a QB that can make reads at the line of scrimmage. Look at the really good defenses against the spread, they have LB's in the 210-220 range that run like safeties. LSU has LB's, as good as they are, that are 230-245 and run like LB's.

No you don't. See Ricky Jean-Francois running his mouth without fear of repercussion from his coaches. See the players taunting the other team while down four touchdowns. See the numerous player arrests we've had in recent years.
