I’ve just used a shovel to dig and form a slightly recessed trench border along landscape beds. Then either spray glyphosate or use a weed eater in the recessed trench to keep the lawn grass from encroaching into the landscape bed, or pull the runners by hand.
And which begs the age old question, why does centipede grass that grows so slowly in the lawn proper to fill in bare/thin spots, seem to grow about a foot a day along landscape beds sending in runners into beds that constantly need to be spayed, cut or pulled. LOL.
