Know what else happens all the time?

People getting a cold! So can we overreact when it's actually appropriate now?

Agreed. Imagine a few years ago trying to convince athletes that they need to all get vaccinated for the common cold or they can't play.

I agree that it seems high, but what are the pre-covid numbers?

It says in the video that the numbers are 500% up on the previous year.

That's for EU soccer (professional clubs?) and again, it does not reference what the pre-pandemic numbers are. It's just concerning that specific numbers are not cited.

A 500% increase of 1 death is a much different than a 500% increase of 7 deaths.

If that was the totality of the problem, sure.

But, the discussion is that this is simply a microcosm of the negative impact the vaccine has on young healthy people...and that it's very possible we haven't even seen the full impact of that yet.

Certainly, you understand that right?

That article and video are terrible. Does OAN always look and sound like people pretending to do the news? I like how the reporter asks questions to the audience and then doesn't answer them.
Isn't it funny how this board loves to rail on media sensationalism, but then you see this article that was written by likely a 13 year old, and this board loves it, not a peep.

Further proving, as long as it fits your side of your agenda, you're good with whatever.

Politics make people act real weird.

I see these numbers posted and EVERYTIME pro-vaxxers come in and dispute the evidence. I know my kids will not touch that poison.

I wouldn't dispute it but without seeing the numbers pre-Covid, everyone here knows that those numbers mean nothing, but they just won't talk admit it.

The article uses a lot of shock and awe statements and how "we've never seen this before" but the article not once shows how they came to that conclusion...by showing the numbers in previous years.

This place tells me to NEVER EVER EVER believe what you read in the media, but will not stop for 1 second to do a simple fact check and are more than happy to assume it's all true in this case.

Which of my opinions make you run with that?

I've asked this question no less than 30 times over the past couple of years, not a single person has ever answered.

But go off, jimmy the leg!!!

What I find strange is it just affects soccer players. I watched the MLB, LSU, the NFL, college football, college basketball and the NBA, and I can not recall anyone collapsing.

Why just soccer players? Hmmmmmmm

Here are the odds over a two year period, but this includes all people, not just the normally healthy where the odds would be much longer. Ages 0-4: 1 death out of 2,075,269 people. Ages 5-14: 1 death out of 169,467 people. Ages 0-17: 1 death out of 92,465 people

Now do Covid deaths. The problem is they were trying to mandate that these young kids get vaccinated when it’s more harmful to them than the virus is.

Young people have always dropped dead of heart attacks. Nothing to see here.

Without a baseline, how can a determination be made as to whether the amount is abnormally high?

It's a good point, but honestly who measures this in the first place in the "athlete" population?

Unless they just started, surely there's more long term data out there. It definitely feels high but would be nice to know for sure.

Well said. I approach this the same way. I hate this “wink wink nod nod” shite. There is a virus that does weird arse shite to people vaxxed or not vaxxed. The virus is the common denominator and a higher probability of uptick in many things.

I really don’t care if people feel they tied their balls to a freight train and need to follow it no matter what. It does worry me that too many people have tunnel vision instead of taking all possibilities into account. Both sides are guilty of this.

We need logic back in the world. Break from the groupthink and weigh the information.

More people than ever or too far gone on both sides of the political spectrum. They both point the finger at each other not realizing they're both guilty of the same shite. While the vast majority of people are not on the extremes like they are and just pointing the finger at both sides laughing at the absurdity of it all.

The Johs Hopkins study about heart issues after Covid sounds very legitimate.I saw patients with viral cardiomyopathy post influenza in my ICU days, severe enough that some needed LVADs to transfer them to hopefully get a heart transplant.

The issue is that Fauci has so corrupted the medical system with the billions of dollars he doles out in grant money. Is Johns Hopkins going to do a study to determine if the Covid vaccine is also responsible for cardiac problems.I seriously doubt it.
John’s Hopkins has a stellar reputation but no doubt they want their share of the government “cheese” and they aren’t going to do anything to jeopardize it.

Fauci and this Covid thing has done serious harm to American’s faith in our healthcare system. He has corrupted every facet-CDC,FDA,NIH,medical schools, all of it.

If we could get accurate COVID information, I would agree. But it’s not even close.
