Cabo - Best resort for honeymoon?

Getting married in CDMX late July, looking to honeymoon in Cabo for the first week in August. Probably looking to do all-inclusive but we will venture out as well. Any suggestions as far as resorts go?

If you're wiling to consider other locations on the Pacific side of Mexico, I'd highly recommend Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta. All inclusive, small, adults-only boutique hotel and resort. Took my wife (no pics) for our 10th anniversary and am saving already for our 15th in November.

following....
we were looking into some places similar for an anniversary February 2023.
Couples trip.
-Tulum was brought up as well, anyone have any experience there and places to stay? looks like you have to fly into Cancun then travel about 90 min south to Tulum? Not sure how that would be.
Went to Cabo back in 2014 on a Bachelor party so totally different. Interested in other ideas as well..

Depends on budget… if you’re willing to pony up, I would recommend The One and Only Palmilla for all inclusive or Pedregal which is closer to the city and absolutely stunning.
Tulum is great too.. headed there again tomorrow, actually.. We stay at a boutique hotel called Encantada; Tulum is a different scene but definitely worth visiting…
Are you hoping to spend all day at a resort being pampered and boozin or are you wanting to get out and about on excursions and stuff like that?

Yeah, what kind of honeymoon do you want? Cabo has places that are "party central" and it has places that are isolated and serene.
In general, Cabo San Lucas is more "touristy" and is more of a party town, while San Jose del Cabo is more genteel (art galleries and such).
Why did you pick Cabo? In my opinion, Cabo is excellent for partying, surfing, deep-sea fishing, and golf. If you aren't particularly interested in any of those things, then I would say that there are resorts in other places that might have more to offer.
One of the things to be aware of with Cabo is that you can't really swim in the ocean from most of the beaches, and lots of beaches are regularly closed because of the high surf. There are only a few resorts in a couple of protected coves (the Hilton is one of them) where you can be confident of swimming in the ocean.

Just know that August is the rainy season in Cabo. It rains every other day and it's very hot and humid that time of year. Just an FYI.

Went to a wedding at Pueblo Bonita Sunset Beach and really enjoyed it.
Did not like Villa del Arco.
