Most competitive team of all time. That’s one of the reasons they are the best ever.

2018 wasn’t the best of all time

He also mentioned Spring practice and Joe Burrow wasn't at LSU until August.

This was 2018. They weren’t being competitive. They were being jerks because he was brought in and was going to beat out their boys.

This is what created respect and brought the players together. 2018 was a good team with a terrible scheme. 2019 was mostly the same team with new a new offensive scheme. We saw flashes in 2018. Game winning drive against Auburn. Beating Georgia. Destroying UCF.

This is funny and all. Glad we were the GOAT. But it shows the players didn’t even respect Coach O back then.

It's possible, but players can have respect for a coach and get out of hand in the heat of the moment from time to time.

Hell, Bama had a player push a coach and go after him in the national championship game a few years back (he had to be held back by other players) and then Saban put him right back in the game. shite happens. It wasn't the best look for Saban though who builds everything on accountability.

Not a lot of smarts shown on that day apparently. I guess it worked out

I ain't tryin to be an Uncle Rico here or nothin but how many of you know what it's like to be involved in these practices/scrimmages?

Every year there's footage from an NFL camp of this same kinda shite happening. It happens at every level and it's especially common in Spring/pre-season camps where energy is high to make an impression and contact is encouraged.
Perfectly fine by me as long as jaws aren't gettin broken.

What Westbrook did was not okay.

I don’t understand why they kept hitting the QB? WTF.

First thing Queen says is that Joe was torching the defense. So, I guess, if you can’t beat em, fight ‘em.

Look. If we field a team better than 2019 I’ll be happier than a pig in shite, eating corn.

I firmly believe we’ll win another national title or 4 or 5,6,7 etc in my life time if I live another 30-40 years.

But 2019 was a once in a lifetime team. Generational QB. Perfect storm. Is even sweeter to think about because it was right before the world went to shite.

Just appreciate 2019 for what it was. The best season you’ll ever see in your life. Now let’s go pull for other natties.

No good reason. Definitely just that competitiveness and they knew they wouldn’t actually hurt him…until they actually started fighting.

I know it was 2018… that competitiveness got them a NY6 bowl win and same players were part of the natty championship. Get out of here

Yes they are. He’s talking about a spring practice. Burrow wasn’t there in the spring of 2018.

Sounds like it was from 2019. Nothing that Queen said refers to 2018. They had known Burrow for a year. They weren’t being jerks, it’s how they played.

Devin White wasn’t on the team in 2019 and they referenced him being a part of it
