I'm an NP and those cardiology NPs are correct. I've been doing remote work overseas the past few years and have been debating on taking an RN assignment during my leave time because there are RN positions all over the country paying a higher rate than what you can currently make in the LA/TX/MS region as an NP.
Psych NP (PMHNP) is paying as much as your higher paying ER positions, but having to deal with psych issues all day...no way. Also, there are PMHNP positions all over these days.
Salary wise as a new NP grad: my first position was in an ED $70/hr, a RHC will pay about +/- $45-50/hr, and psych will be in that $140-180K range.

Was that benefit or non benefit rate? Also where and how long ago was that?
