See, I shouldn't have to explain this to you, assuming you aren't in middle school, but individual Russian soldiers don't really have an option to just opt out of the war. They are just pure fodder for an Authoritarian strongman. They certainly don't deserve to be tortured and maimed upon capture. I mean, civilization figured this out 100 years ago. Be smarter and better bro.
