Torturing prisoners is protecting your families and friends?

This will backfire on Ukraine big time. Putin will use it and galvanize the Russia people.

The smart and moral decision is to treat POWs humanely. Ukraine chose to go the sadist route.

Lets see how that works out for them.

First of all, you have no idea what Linoge or anyone else would do (or has done) to protect their family.

Secondly, this is a political war, and everyone concerned has fault aplenty, including instigators like our own government. The current administration and everyone who empowered them contributed to the loss of innocent life in Ukraine (both Russian and Ukrainian) and ought to be ashamed. None of us know jack-shite about what's really going on over there, but you can bet your arse that shooting those soldiers in the leg had nothing to do with protecting a family.
