cool to hear some perspective from someone at the game. i dont know exactly how to feel about the co-d coordinators, i just know SOMETHING needs fixing. mainly in the secondary. i think lee will come into his own as well ... just not sure he will be anything special this year.

I really think this is a major problem. Wish Les would have followed the precedent he set w/ Crowton. Find a top DC and get him regardless of the cost. Promoting from w/in rarely works.

cue, the Muschamp example... Well in that case we all know that Saban was bringing that guy along and grooming him for the job. Regardless of whether u like Saban or not, he may be the best d back coach in the world.

I'd still go back in 2 years. Great trip. Again the UF fans were quite cordial and very complimentary of our team.

Glad you enjoyed your time in G-ville (other than the game) and were treated well by Gator fans.

I too was at the game and also was treated with respect from the fans and enjoyed myself to the fullest except for the lashing we recieved. I also thought that the stadium was much more electric than ours has been in the past couple of years and we all know this story and wont go there. I also thought the gay banner was funny and noticed the McCain, Palin support.

You are right our defense was totally confused most of the game and not from the Florida offense either but from their on sidelines it looked almost embarrassing. With the talent we have you almost have to blame the coaches for that but we don't know the whole story there.

As for Lee he plays like a freshman and that's gonna hurt until he gets the experience he needs and matures. Again if the D doesn't change the season is just starting to get long. The O showed they can score and in a hurry too.

I was wondering if anyone got a picture of that across the road banner about the gay parade. If taken at the right angle you could have gotten the Ben Hill Griffin sign on the stadium in the background.

I was kind of disappointed about their fans being so quiet, when they are supposed to be some of the worst in the SEC. The only time I got taunted was on the way home comming through Atlanta by a passing car. However with it turning into a blow out most of their fans stayed for the entire game, which doesn't happen at Tiger Stadium. Wasn't a big fan of the piped in music played over the load speakers. The only time I heard the UF band was during half time. Our seats which were in the upper endzone didn't have much lighting, and with the steep steps ade it difficult for people to get to and from their seats, especially if they had been drinking.
