at a local Chinese grocery where they process their own meat rather than order from a big company. Lot of fat content, that was the best damn burger I’ve eaten in a long time.

You sure about that, Clark?

ETA: Subway had such fresh bread back in the day..

Subway used to be excellent. They collapsed about 15-20 years ago.

Subway has always been gross.

I’ll still eat it, but I have no delusions about what it is.

Whoppers used to be fantastic
Back when they cooked them after you ordered. They went across the "Flame grill" right there in the front of the store. Now they pull a fully cooked patty out of a refrigerator, and heat it in a microwave.

When I was in 1st or 2nd grade, my parents put my two brothers and I in the Falcon station wagon, with our Doberman, Venus, and drove to McDonald's by the LSU campus for a cheeseburger. We lived in Vidalia. Venus got a burger too.

Are you out of your mind?

I do remember when Cane's had real-sized chicken fingers, it was tight.

How old are you? There was a time when they had fresh baked bread daily, you'd walk in the smell was mother watering. Coupled with the meatballs and you could call it a day
