Same ole shat tonight. No movement on offense. Jack up 3’s and hope they go in. If you miss a bunch of 3’s (Mlwani) keep shooting b/c eventually by the end of eternity you may make one. Don’t worry about making foul shots Days it won’t come back to haunt us. Oh and make sure you par the guy on the behind after he drains an NBA 3 in your face b/c you refused to put ur hands up and guard him. Did I miss anything?

This is bizarro world, nothing was different tonight. This is the exact team we've had the 2nd half of season.

The super-rare technical call for having 6 guys on the court with the ball in play?

Lol at the “not mentally prepared to play” comments. Please tell me the last game they were mentally prepared to play? Regardless of the coach.

I say no. Wade wasn’t a very good bench coach. I doubt it would have been any different.

Yes and anyone saying there was no difference is either lying, doesn’t know what they’re watching or was watching their first game in the last 5 years.

Easily

This team makes it to the second weekend with Wade. This draw couldn’t have been easier

Let’s see. We almost beat a team that had their entire staff on hand and the question you ask is would we win with our entire staff. YES!

So the reason we lost it’s because they had their staff...not because we can’t shoot worth a damn, or that one punk refused to miss, or because every time their defense played close we’d panic and throw it away?

This game looked like most of our other games, so no.

Also, Mwani can't shoot, Days can't shoot, Eason can't stay in the game, Gaines is an automatic turnover, Pinson was playing for Iowa St., Efton is a non factor and the rest of our bench is just not that good at basketball.

I guess with Miller being hurt, there went any chances of a run.

Yes

Zero focus leading up to the game

They played hard, but their lack of focus in preparation showed.

Their are scads of data points in Wade's career that would suggest otherwise. For someone to feel like it was a no-brainer that Wade's absence was the sole reason we lost is just feeling sentimental about losing him as the program's head cheerleader. Look at the shots we scored on last night versus ISU. Eason was throwing in crap inside with people draped all over him. We almost never got a clean look inside or out while ISU is draining un-contested 3's with great regularity. That was Wade's team..his design...and his outcome. He will be missed for his energy and enthusiasm for LSU but his coaching will never be the thing people remember.

Yes.

Lsu hadnt score less than 66 since january before yesterday. I think Wade wouldve squeezed at least 64-65 out of our guys

Here’s what you’re missing, Tari Eason never caught the ball with his back to the basket in Wade’s offense especially on the left block. That happened several times yesterday. We never ran the horns look with the double screen up top for Pinson or the secondary option off that look with Eason catching the ball up top for him to drive the ball right which is his go to. We’ve also changed up having Days posting up a lot more. Since the last week and a half of the regular season he’s taking more inside shots than 3s but yesterday he caught 2 post ups, one on an inbounds play. Even Wilkinson was on the opposite side of where he’d been a viable shooting outlet all year long. We also didn’t pressure the ball much, the rotations and minutes were totally different as well. No we didn’t do much of what we normally do yesterday schematically or approach wise. Just because we had some recognizable sloppy play doesn’t mean the design was the same. There’s a reason Days stormed out of practice the other day and it’s easy to see why he did that now.

It was more about circumstances around the whole situation than the coach coaching the game in regards to specifically the game last night.
