Mate, I don't think this has ever been properly explained, but I'm in the mood to try:

You couldn't have picked an absolute WORSE time for a high profile conservative Christian athlete like Drew Brees to crawfish the way he did. He was in every conservative sports fan's top 3 most admired pro athletes. To have him pull that crap, in that way, to THOSE people, at THAT time in our nation was just really beyond disappointing to so many of us.

I will never feel the same way about him in terms of the caliber person he is. I still think he's a good dude, a fantastic father, and a great QB. But I thought I knew how Drew Brees would react in a situation like that... and let's just say I was very surprised and very disappointed. And I know most everybody who views the world like I do feels exactly the same way.

If you were scared for the safety of your family than you might crawfish too. In fact I think a lot of ppl would. I’m conservative but I’m not going to act like I wouldn’t crawfish if my family’s safety may be on the line.

That being said I didn’t completely agree with how he handled the situation either but I still like Drew. Also all politics aside if you look at statistics, records, just how he commanded the offense... he’s one of the GOATs and absolutely the Saints GOAT. Calling him “noodle” arm will never take that away either...

PS: don’t you have some weird as frick thread you need to post SirWinston?
