32 TDS/ 13 ints for his three years as a starter. 10.6 TDs a season...meh
You do realize though that ASU only played like 4 games in 2020.
His point is still valid. Max Johnson has 35 TD passes in a season, +2 games, and most on this board would say he sucks.
Daniels has 32 TD passes in 2 full seasons + 4 games. I get that Daniels brings the wheels, but I'm not sure if that's an element this team desperately needed considering the strength of the WR group. I feel like anything he gets you on the ground is at the expense of maximizing the talents of the wideouts.

It’s a fair point. But we must take into account that Daniels was in a system where it did not require him to throw the ball as much as Johnson.
LSU had no run game, therefore Max had more opportunities. Max Johnson threw the ball 378 times in his first full season. The most Daniels ever threw in a season is 338. Hence the reason Max had more TDs.
Also Johnson had way better weapons.

Could it be that the D having to always think about a QB breaking containment would in fact make the passing game more effective?
