Most HEBs are always fricking packed (unless you live near one of the smaller ones in a fancy neighborhood). I despise when I have to go to one. Its like bumper-carts in their produce section.

I dislike most Krogers, but one is literally 2 minutes from my house.

i live in a downtown historic district that is way closer to the ghetto than it is the suburbs and we have a smaller HEB over here. it's literally called "Ghetto HEB by people of all classes and color. if i'm doing a bigger grocery run, i'll head to the other one, but get smaller stuff here.

one time i saw a friend that lives 30 minutes away in the smaller one by me. he's a tad bit more than wealthy and it caught me by surprise to see him there and he said that he comes to this one because they are the only one that carries certain hot sauces due to the more diverse clientele.
