This story is bullshite.
A "Bump" robbery doesn't turn into a stalking downof the target.
If they miss the grab with you, they continue to the next person.
If they were going to mug you, they wouldn't have bothered with the "Bump", just followed you to a better mugging spot. Why would they alert you to their intentions with the bump?
Quit spreading bullshite to gain internet points.

Yup. OP has been posting all week about packing in New Orleans and then comes down and immediately starts posting about seeing criminals everywhere and almost being a victim.
OP sounds like my sister in law who is almost a victim of a crime weekly at the grocery store.

I have no opinion on the veracity of OP’s story, but it was funny to me thinking about muggers having standard operating procedures. Gotta rob by the book!
