The closet scene was crazy

That was incredibly disturbing.

During that scene, in my head I envisioned that Milchick just showed up at his house, explained he needed something for work, and initiated the retrieval.

Now that I'm ruminating on it, I'm starting to think Milchick is this guy's "Mrs. Selvig," another fictional character that has been monitoring him for a while, and is already a part of his outtie's (and son's) life.

If that is the case, he probably got him in the closet on a false pretense, then called in the swap—which, by the way, they somehow accomplished remotely (away from the Lumon elevator).

I don't think so. He probably did orientation and the procedure with Milchick, like Helly did.

After Milchick snapped him back, he was cordial and asked if they were done. Sure seemed like his outie knew who Milchick was and that he needed to access his innie for something work related.

Been thinking about this. What if Petey’s issues were because they were trying to remote activate his innie? They may be the reason he died. He might should have ran far away.
