Because all of NATO is legally required to treat an attack on the Baltics as an attack on themselves.

So when does the European Union do something? NATO is required to defend the baltic states if i recall correctly.
It's required to do all kinds of things that member states don't actually do. And there's no consequence so they don't do them.
How many times NATO states go "not my problem, let americans pay the brunt of it."

No. See above. But Putin is not stupid enough to pick a war with NATO or invade a NATO country Russia cannot beat NATO in a military conflict.
