The synopsis of the forthcoming movie reads, "In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-Head are sentenced to Space Camp by a 'creative' judge in 1998. Their obsession with a docking simulator (huh huh) leads to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score."

Adding to this excitement, more than 200 remastered episodes of the original series will also be available through Paramount+.
There are still no firm release dates for either the follow-up to 1996's Beavis and Butt-Head Do America flick or the forthcoming TV season, but both appear to be on track to come out this summer, with the movie coming in July followed by new episodes, as ViacomCBS aims to maximize its IP in an increasingly competitive streaming market.
Hit adult animated show South Park will also move all TV episodes, movies and made-for-streaming films to Paramount+ worldwide in 2025 with Season 27 arriving one year earlier on that platform

The videos were half the fun.

As long as new episodes also go to HBOMax, I'm fine with that. I'd rather watch them on HBO since they are not censored.

I think its universally agreed that the videos were the best part of the show.

no, I also liked the little adventures they went on. if it was 100% videos, i don't think it would have lasted very long.

Till this day I can not listen to Pantera's "This Love" without hearing "is that a tear in little Pantera's eye?"

I have the entire collection (as well as banned episodes, aired once eps, specials, etc) with every video, if you can find it, it's a fan collection called "King Turd" and it's glorious.

Agreed. The videos could be pretty funny but I kept watching b/c of all the shite they would get into during the story segments.
It's kind of funny that some of the episodes got banned and can only be watched via VHS or piracy now considering what is now acceptable to air on TV.

"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man."
I just don't understand why people can't understand that concept.
The abundance of mediocre to awful reboots, remakes, and reimaginings over the past couple decades seems to just slip everyone's mind.
You are chasing a dragon, and you'll never catch it.
Let the past be the past. Enjoy it for what it was.

The 80s and 90s were the last original decades with anything to offer.

Agreed. Postmodernism took over Hollywood and the music industry around the turn of the century. The entertainment industry is in a downward spiral, much like almost all Western institutions. There is a collapse happening right now and most are unaware of it.
Regarding the entertainment industry, there will eventually be a Renaissance, but we aren't quite there yet.
The money counters in the industry understand all this, which is why they are squeezing as much out of old IP by exploiting nostalgia. They'll keep doing it as long as it's short term profitable, but long term there will be blood.
