This is absolutely incorrect. This has never happened to me in my entire adult life, and it has been attempted many times (weddings, birthday parties, trips, etc.)

Hey man, it's your decision to make and you've already made it...and that's cool. It looks like you're going to the wedding because you truly love the lady. I've been married 20 years and there are things that test any relationship. If you truly love each other, no matter what you do, it will pass. You've made your decision to go to the wedding to support your lady, so just do it. You don't need our approval either way. Just don't turn the tv, listen to the radio, read the newspaper, or answer the phone until you watch your recording of the game and everything should be fine. And oh yeah, tell your lady not to tell the good news from the game if she sees the score. As for me and my household, we will be watching the Tigers whip some gator arse.

Ok...let's say the d(m) axis is your problem (pussy whipped doing whatever she says) and t(s) is time....as you can see as you go further in time without nipping this issue in the bud, you will be even more pussy wipped in the future. Here endeth the lesson.
If you truly love her, propose to her, make her pledge her alligence to LSU, and tell her you are taking her to atlantic city or someplace for the weekend and your problem is solved.

I actually did that to my wife's bf. it was her 3rd wedding and i was at both of the other one's. i didn't make the wedding, and they're still together. maybe i was the jinx.. :lol:

My girlfriend tried to pull this on the Bama/UGA game this year for her friend's birthday party. We made a compromise. I didn't go to the party but I met them at a bar afterwards. Maybe you can skip the wedding and go to a bar with them after they get drunk at the reception.

Yea, believe me, I know. I suck and am a horrible fan. I should just kill myself now. What a piece of shite I am for sticking to a commitment I made 5 months ago. I would do anything I can to watch the game except hurt my girl. Guess that makes me a terrible person.
