Dat Radius be 45 minute not 45 mile baw
Okay, I am an idiot. I thought the song was 45 miles.
Well take the map as if you are driving 60 MPH with no traffic and in a straight line.
We can get really technical and calculate 45 minutes of distance in latitude and longitude distance using degrees, minutes, and second values. Which would be a combination of values since distance using coordinates vary by location on the globe. For example along the 38th parallel:
One degree of latitude equals approximately 364,000 feet (69 miles), one minute equals 6,068 feet (1.15 miles), and one-second equals 101 feet.
One-degree of longitude equals 288,200 feet (54.6 miles), one minute equals 4,800 feet (0.91 mile), and one second equals 80 feet.
Averaging the 2 based on the SE trajectory and being closer to the equator we are probably real close to 45 miles.
