Dulac is basically due South... Bourg is slightly SE, but it's pretty understood that he's talking about 45 minutes SE on Hwy. 1 or 308...

and 45 minutes SE of Thibodaux, depending on which Hwy. and how fast you're going, you're either in Cut Off or Galliano....
