I loved my time in Asturias in Spain. Wanted to go to the coastal community of Galicia but didn't make it. That would actually be closer to Portugal and an area to research. Supposedly beautiful coastline. Seafood. Green.

Why not consider Croatia? Been once and loved the country.

Coastal wise, only spent some time in Opatija. Beautiful coastal town. So many coastal towns I didn't get to see.

I hadn't really considered Croatia. Been there once and loved it. Will check it out more.

I do like to "try" to surf. I hear Portugal has some good spots. Got any recs?
