So I've always wondered and never knew...what's the story behind calling LSU fans "corn dogs"?
This is the rant and someone will probably say "germans" or whatever but for those who dont feel like bashing me...please explain.

the nick name was first applied to Nebraska or some such, then some Auburn or Bama fans, applied it to us, I think it means country hick, like at the county fair, eating corn dogs.

there is no meaning

it means that Auburn has a jealousy-based hate for LSU, and that they are good thieves of the midwestern joke...thats all

It was borrowed by an Auburn fan from the Big 10.
It is a Big 10/Big 12 thing (Iowa, Kansas, Iowa State, Nebraska, etc.)
It has about as much to do with LSU and LSU fans as Eskimos and sun-tan lotion.
