Myles is a good qb and someone LSU desperately needed to return, however, if Williams is an option you push all in hard, no matter which qb leaves because of it

USC has leveraged our name once already to land their guy,

No they didn’t. His (and Brian Kelly’s) agent did that purposely to keep anyone from asking Riley about the USC job and he could openly deny any interest in LSU. It was a ploy and nothing more. Woodward was never going after Riley.

I’m pretty sure, no I’m 100% sure that everyone is missing the point of this. It isn’t to necessarily get Caleb Williams, which IF happens would be a bonus for LSU.

This is a play by our NIL support to get LSU back in the playing field with NIL deals. If recruits see these articles and that NIL support for LSU has a Heisman contenders interest, then that means LSU has some serious backers now and we’re back playing with the big boys.

That can gain traction and these big recruits will start to look into our NIL as a spot of interest for them. This will generate more conversation for LSU recruiting, at the very least.

Friend of mine works for Lamar and gave me an idea (would not give exact amount) of how much GM spend annually with them for billboard space, it was a crazy number.

Yeah I’m good. Save that money for the 23 class. We have Brennan and Howard.

KW is ten times the prospect JB was before coming to LSU. Enough said a franchise player.

I'm sorry I can't keep up with all the abbreviations, but who is KW?

Do you mean CW?

LSU can offer National Championship. SEC schools win them.

IF true, not saying it is, this would tell me that the coach was willing to welcome Brennan back when there were no options for an experienced qb, but there's some level of concern that he can take this team where it needs to go.

I don’t think there’s a chance in hell Caleb Williams comes here but if he does, you take him, no questions asked.

Great that Brennan came back, but he hasn’t proven nearly enough where you guarantee him the starting job and rebuff a potential Heisman-winning quarterback.

What am I missing, didn't Riley bench him at OK and now Caleb wants to follow him to USC? Riley did well in the weak arse Big 12, but got waxed in their meaningful bowl games. He may be overrated.

Glad we got Kelly who did great at ND considering the recruiting standards he had to face.

I’m sure BK told Brennan that by him coming back it did not mean he was the guaranteed starter. Or that they would stop looking in the portal

He is a true tiger. He came back anyway, despite all of that.

Exactly. And doesn't USC have a pretty good young QB? Would he then transfer if CW went there?

Exactly. Brennan's statement did not sound like he needed to be guaranteed starter at all.
