Quality work by Amazon. Drive others out of business by undercutting them online, then swoop in and open brick and mortar stores in their former locations when mall/retail space is cheap.

Let's not act like most of those other businesses didn't suffer from complete shite leadership and vision. Most of them had a jump on Amazon with infrastructure and online presence. They did frick all to use that advantage and just sat idly by and watched Amazon take over the retail world.

Covid was perfect for Amazon. Small businesses put out of business, Amazon thrives.
