Let's see Wade get his team to a Final Four before touting how great he is. He's a good coach and recruiter but it's all about March Madness.

And Dale was no Will Wade yet in his 5th year. Go look up Dale's record in his first 5 years and compare to WW's. Not even close - and they both took over team and programs in the same state of shambles.

You are right and that is a damn good thing! You daddy Dale pumpers exhaust me. His teams had some of the best talent this university has ever seen and what do we have to show for it? He squandered more athletic ability than Curly Hallman! That court should be named after Sue Gunter a true pioneer and visionary for this program.

I would say our basketball facilities rate about comparatively the same relatively speaking to our peers in the SEC now as they did then - which is all that really matters - and we had a brand new arena when Dale took over. Facilities aren't a factor.

I'm a Wade fan, but Dale Brown took over a complete piece of shite of a program. Johnny Jones clearly didn't cut it as a coach, but he only had one losing season in the SEC (his last year - which was pathetic) before Wade took over. Wade had his shortcomings as a coach, but he is still learning and is building a really good program with his recruiting, etc.

Our facilities are still crap. Why you think he and Mulkey are trying to fix that? Also, how was our basketball program doing AFTER Brady left and BEFORE Wade got here?

Doubt Wade ever reaches Dale Brown's heights.... hope I'm wrong. And they had REAL basketball teams when Dale coached, today's game is severely degraded thanks to the NBA.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Brown fought like hell to win a SEC title. Wade did too. That isn’t easy.
