Stats: (estimated)
Kentucky 330 Total Yards
283 passing 3td
47 rushing
1 TO

Vanderbilt 290 total yards
90 rushing 2td
200 passing 2Td
0 TO

Summary: Took the lead early in the second hal 21 - 7 tried to make it 28 at the end of the quarter but failed to score. Third quarter was all kentucky..i couldn't move the ball on offense and they put two quick ones on me to tie it up.

Fourth quarter kentucky started with the ball and eventually punted so with about 3 minutes left i just did clock management until i scored on a fourth down.

Final: 28 - 21
Vandy 2 - 0 matching last seasons total.

so I thought I played a good game against Stanford. Gave up 130 something yds total on D 5 first downs and 0 third down conversions. But it's Stanford right.

ND vs Michigan.

UM 2 first downs, 106 total yds. 59 came on a bullshite play where nobody decided to cover their WR with 6 secs left before half(TD). 10 rush yds. Their offense is a 94 and I though I would have some trouble stopping them. By far my best ever game on D. Of course my offense controlled the ball. 14+ minutes on the clock.

ND 17-17 passing. Clausen must have got the hint. 12-12 with a TD.

Finally a WR with 100 yds. My first.

Heisman race is going to be fun this year. A. Allen(lightning) had a good game but I just did not need him that much. Thunder did most of the ball control work.

what the score ended up?

my defense isn't fast enough to become a shut down type defense. i'm going to have to do my best to contain the better teams in the SEC East and rely on my offense to take control. Whenever i'm going to play the better teams, i'll begin using clock control and keep my offense on the field.

i'm still using my two defenses. I just didnt' use it as much against Kentucky as i probably should. I played the entire fourth quarter with my 2nd team when i saw my first team couldn't hack it.

I think i may start out games with the second unit and work in my first team in the second half. I have to prepare my players for the future.

Smoked Nebraska 87-21.

McKnight had 6 Rushing TD's, 2 Receiving TD's, and 1 punt return TD

Sanchez was 21-27 for 358 yds. 4 TD's and 1 INT

Defense played meh in my opinion. Gave up 14 points on two long, sustained drives. Was holding teams to negative rushing yards last year, and they rushed for 44 yds. on me.

Those bitches need to step it up. Especially with the recruiting class I had last year.

I see FSU hung 109 on poor BC. Dayumn.

This year will definitely be an interesting one... Art, you're going down, but not before I take out Gugich first.

You should go in and set your defense sub to 100. This will rotate all your defensive guys more often and when you switch to 2nd string, it will get your 2nd and third string guys in there as well.

Yeah, I put up 109 with three turnovers too.

They did have a 74 yard run against me though. Defense fell apart for one play. Other than that, I'm pretty excited about FSU. I have four 4 star committs already but I'm losing a TON of players after this year. Looks like this might be my one shot for the NC for quite a few years.

how are y'all able to put up such ungodly numbers with 4 or 5 minute quarters? 8 total td's....109 points. I know i have a poor defense, but i still only see the ball about three times a half.

Pretty much my offense is unstoppable, and I usually get about 3-5 picks a game...a few of which I run back for TD's. Last season a lot of people put up huge stats on punt returns and scored oodles of points with punt return TD's, but I had a slow arse guy at the position for my first few games before I put McKnight back there. I get a lot of yards on punt returns, but not as many TD's as others. I guess it's not one of my strongest points.

I'm going to advance again tonight between 8-10. As soon as I get home and get settled.

Turnovers and 3 and out's will get you the ball more often.

I'm pretty sure I noticed a difference in the games I've played with them subbing out earlier in the game. I hate when I'm picking a play and all the guys are yellow because they're tired, lol.

my third down defense sucks at the moment. Also, for some reason everytime i get to fourth down they're in a position to go for it and they always do I figured for the most part it had to do with the talent...i'm playing with such inferior talent at the moment. I average an INT a game but drop many.

i'm not worried though user to user games fair much different then against the computer. I always thought the offensive/defensive settings were for simulations. So the computer knows how to play when you aren't playing.

Those are, but the sub in/out aren't.

One thing that helps me alot against the computer is putting alot of pressure while playing tight on the receivers. Even if you have less talent, the quarterback throws the ball quicker and your DBs stay with the receivers for about 8-10 yards. This leads to more turnovers and sacks. However, it also leads to a few big plays. I don't know if you do this, but it seems to work for me. I did this with Western Kentucky on Heisman and went 12-1. Like you said though, it all changes in a user vs. user game.

i blitz a lot and i play bump in run.. but if a quarterback sits in shotgun he'll pick my slow defense a part...i probably need a year or two of good recruiting under my belt before i can have an elite defense...

I have a guy I converted from RB to DE before the season during position changes. I needed some speed and he ended up taking the starting spot. I run a 4-3 with a DE in one of the tackle spots. I am able to drop my DE's into coverage and and still get some good pressure on the QB and also blitz LB's. It really blows the computers mind but you have to have the right people to do it. It really works well on a team that you know if not balanced and is going to throw the ball 60% or more. Like Michigan
