Nope, prolly wouldn't care as much if I had. Maybe I just underestimated UI???

The had a stacked recruiting class. Maybe that helped. What was the final score? Statistics (est. being that you're obviously not on the game right now)?

I know they had 4 INT's and 2 fumble recoveries (also BS) and beat me by at least 35pts. It has been a while since I've played and I never practiced against the cpu on Heisman. I'll check out your sliders and play on my own tonight to see if I can improve. It just won't be any fun losing 3-4 games in a season.

How did they get such a good recruiting class?

factor in that if your team sucked last year...you have to play stout throughout the game in order to win...

Mizzou went to the NCG last year in our dynasty.

That's definitely true, but I was just surprised at how bad it was.

I'm resetting the difficulty to All American with normal sliders. The computer still cheats to win on Heisman even with these settings. Sorry Art, but the game is no fun this way.

Idaho put up 35 on USC, and even though I beat them by 35, they still had over 350 yards of offense. I had no turnovers at all, but it is almost impossible to stop the passing game.

As LSU in my offline dynasty I beat FCS East 112-7, but then against Troy, North Texas, and Auburn, the score was 52-50, 70-45, and 48-43. The game, in my opinion, is much more unrealistic than before.

Sea, I'm going to purge the results of your game b/c it's not fair for you to have a loss on Heisman, while a lot of people had the benefit of a bye, and will get to play on AA for their first game. Once I purge, I think it has to be a cpu v cpu game, but at least you have a 50/50 shot of winning it. After I change back, no more playing with the settings, I promise.

As for restarts, it's my judgement call. I granted people the benefit of the doubt most of the time, especially if it was against a weak team I know they would beat. The only game I threw out last season was one where Penn State started the game 3 times against OSU. That was fishy to me, even if Penn State was rolling everyone.

alright, i won't deny i have restarted twice in another dynasty

one was straight up me getting handled and couldn't take it
and the other was definitely a frozen game.

just don't make it a habit and suck it up if you can't win.j

works for me....

I got handled in the game vs UI but I took it as it was. I figured most other people would take time getting used to the new settings as well. I didn't come on here to bitch about the outcome, just wanted to discuss the changes with everyone else in the dynasty.

It really doesn't matter to me what you want to do with the dynasty. I just didn't think it would be fun for anyway if the cpu puts Tulsa vs. Virginia in the NCG because we all have one loss, lol. I just hope it doesn't reset my recruiting.

It makes no difference to me. I usually play on AA anyway. When I do play heisman those are my settings. Maybe bump the computer up a bit on AA.

i don't know what just happened...but that was the biggest load of shite i've ever played...

did you adjust the sliders big time? i just played Houston and lost in fricking overtime because my quarterbacks threw 5 interceptions and my defense couldn't stop their offense for shite...

their running backs broke about 30 tackles, my d-line got no pressure and even when i blitzed, no one actually got through to the QB...

something is wrong here...that shouldn't happen

Well it's fixed back to AA now. Tulsa v. UVA shouldnt happen anymore. Your recruiting should be fine.

Yea, we jumped up the difficulty to Heisman this year for more of a challenge, but it was a big mistake. The AI is bullshite on Heisman, any way you look at it. Therefore, we're going back to the same exact settings that we had last season. I'll purge your results and give you another shot at it because I did the same for Seawolf.

Everything should return back to normal next week.

Like I said, AI bullshite. Idaho put up 35 on my vaunted USC "D".
I still hung 70 on those chumps though.

it was a great game, though...went into overtime...i had the ball 3rd and and goal from the 2 on the first possession during overtime...my QB fumbled...then they scored 3 plays later...

but i should easily dispose of them on AA

Here's the deal:

I just went ahead and advanced to Week 2. I did this b/c the changes from Heisman to All American were not going to go into effect until week 2 anyway, and ya'll would both have likely had the same problems again.

Here's the catch though, I thought both Oregon and Mizzou would easily win. Fact is, Oregon won, Mizzou lost. Seawolf, I'm sorry that it happened like that. If you can take any solace in anything, maybe you can say that while you lost by a huge margin, Gugich lost by a small one in overtime. I dunno.

Anyway, I'm sorry for this whole damn scandal. It's finally over now though, and everything is back to normal.

Seawolf, you still have a legitimate shot of getting to the title game, seeing as that you have direct control over whether or not you school Oklahoma, and everyone else has yet to play their user games. All in all you should be ok.

Nino and Citgojosh, sorry you missed out on setting your recruiting for week 1, but the deadline was here, and I went ahead and advanced.

I'm going to be stricter about the deadline this year. We have more users and it's not fair to just sit around wondering when a person will get to their game once the deadline has passed. If there is an issue with being able to play on time, just let me know, and I'll gladly hold back on advancing. Just let me know about it.

wow no love for ND. Beat a ranked team on heisman and still can't jump an 0-1 Mizzou.

PS of to a quick start on recruiting. If I can't win the national title this year I will continue to recruit my arse off until I do.

I posted this once before, but the new people (and some old) may have missed it:

I suggest we each put our cellphone numbers in the in game message box area below our team info in the dynasty headquarters area. This way it makes for quick text communication to schedule user v user games. I understand that some may not want to do this, but its just a suggestion. I have posted mine for starters.
