I was pretty close to my dad and it happened fairly quickly, in a matter of days.
It’s been 5 years and I still have a really hard time finding the words for it, it……it wasn’t a good time obviously but I can’t say I had the same experience as those who say it was “the hardest time in my life” or anything like that…….it’s just strange and I guess will always be strange that he isn’t here
For some encouragement, ppl like to say it gets better everyday but that’s not how I describe it. It does get better every day, the pain is always there but it just seems to get…..duller over time If that makes any sense
