The hardest, most difficult period of my life, was the six months I watched my dad fight lung cancer. He was an amazing man who gave his life for his wife and kids, literally. Just be present and with him now.

Mine passed from lung cancer too. Took him about 11 months after diagnosis. Such a helpless feeling.
