Had a 15 year old GE Profile at my old house that I had to replace 2 separate circuit boards. One failed right after a thunderstorm, though.

I just went through this a year ago when I replaced all of my appliances. I went with the Frigidaire gallery series and we are very happy. I also stayed away from the 'TV' company brands.
