You would be surprised how often this is attempted in Baton Rouge.
We actually caught the crew on this case. If my memory is correct, the truck seen in this video was stolen off Corporate a few days earlier.
These idiots thought they were slick and spray painted it hunter green to try and throw us off the trail. The primer green F250 creeping around a gas station under surveillance at 3:00am a few days later was hard to ignore.
We caught another crew a few weeks later after Patrol spotted another F250 throwing sparks every where near Kenilworth at 4am. These idiots were based out of Houston and did not have a clue where to run.
The smart ones, we don't catch them.

Around a decade or so ago in the Augusta Ga area some guys did successfully steal an outside ATM machine from a bank using a forklift they stole from a construction site that was nearby. They found the ATM a week or so later abandoned, the guys apparently
never could figure out a way to get into it

How hard is it to run that model truck through the state system and start searching for people. No license place, but giant stickers on the window? Ha
