My vote goes to Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Moved to this area recently and it's definitely an upgrade over BR. But then again, what isn't?

My vote goes to Western North Carolina. Great food, mountains are beautiful, perfect kind of weather for me too.

Raleigh-Durham NC or Boulder CO.

Great places throughout NC, SC, VA and PA...experience the 4 seasons, but in moderation.

Also, many places in NH, VT and ME are great, but very cold in winter.

I lived there, Greenville/Sparty/Charlotte is better.

Except for Macon & Ft Valley middle Georgia is better.

North ATL, Woodstock > Canton is better.

Columbus GA is more rednecky,,.but it's better.

Shenandoah valley VA is better...Roanoke > Harrisonburg

I think North Alabama is better, but I was only there for a few weeks.

I think the Knoxville area is better.
